i was having this argument with someone at work but im curious
who do yall think is better stevie ray vaughan or jimi hendrix?
i say stevie ray vaughan

I think that SRV is better at the Texan blues, while Jimi is better at the Martian blues.

tough call but Stevie Ray just takes it for me
some of the stuff he did with his bro Jimmy was cool too
thats not to say Jimi Hendrix isn't absolutely great, but i can listen to SRV all day - i was brought up on it and only heard Jimi occasionally: might b a reason for my preference...
