You probably just heard some new 50 Cent crap. Before Rap was about bitches it was a genre that was all about poetry. Influenced by African music actually, was around pretty much as long as Blues, powerful but image and everything really whithered it down to nothing, the same thing is happening to Rock. |

Anything off of Boondocks, my new favourite show. Also Afrika bamatta(can't spell) and public enemy rock. Run DMC is about as good as life gets. I can also dig mosdef.

I hate the boondocks, not because I'm not black but its boring as hell. I don't stay up late watching adult swim just to see some political show. I'd rather watch something funny or with action. Oh yeah the maker of the boondocks is from Columbia Maryland. The next town over from mine. I used to live there. |
