The Appleseed Cast

Indie rock at it's finest.

They started out very heavily influenced by the second wave emo acts like Mineral and Sunny Day Real Estate but as time progressed they slowly became more post-rock influenced (and had a perfect mixture of both sounds on their two Low Level Owl albums.) All in all a A+ band Must listen.

I never liked that name either. To be honest any band that puts 'the' in front of their name strikes me as not having put much thought into their name.
The music itself is pretty run of the mill imo.
