Supertramp

I used to listen to these guys a lot, and now after a while I've started to again. Man was I missing out, because now I can appreciate them even more than before. You don't hear songs like School and Bloody Well Right, often Anyone else like these guys?

Yeah, I only have their kind of hard to find debut album. But, I'm familiar with a bit of their 70's stuff. Very clever songwriting!

I liked them to some degree, someone had an album way back that got occasional play at the parties but I only remember the songs the radio is still beating into the ground which were otherwise good songs. I guess they are more of a reminder of my first few after school years, then appealing to my musical quests. twas far better than the disco & punk scene that was prevelent around the same time. I think Tramp plays well with Steeley Dan, different but compatible.

Roger Hodgson has co-wrote a few songs with Trevor Rabin (Yes) in the past.

Breakfast in America is a great album! Their use of horns in the compositions are great on that album. I haven't really bothered to look into any other releases though.

I have Breakfast In America but I have to be in the right mood to listen to it. It's a good album.

I like a lot of SUPERTRAMP. David Gilmour does some solos on BROTHER WHERE YOU BOUND.
