Cover of Godhead's Lament
Hi all,
This is my first post here on the forums. Some of you may have already seen my alias before as I was the one who posted those recordings of the 2/23/08 WSOU Opeth interview on YouTube. I figure since so many of you guys checked that video out, you might be interested in seeing a video cover of Godhead's Lament  Feel free to rate and comment  I also have some other Opeth cover videos I recorded earlier, so you can check them out if you're so inclined. The very first three are of me playing The Leper Affinity (was working with a ghetto camera so I couldn't record more than 3 minutes at a time, hehe). Haha, indeed you're right about that.
I'm actually usually much more clean cut throughout the year as it is. The current hairstyle is simply due to me being in my senior year of college. It's my last chance to do something like that before I start the whole professional thing in the "real world" next year  |

The Mirror Ghost Opeth tribute band
 Hello, people here in the Opeth forum. dont know if this is the right place to talk about this.... but i searched in the forum for a topic called tribute band and i didn't found anything...but... However... this is our Tribute band called The Mirror Ghost, we come from northern italy. We decided to put togheter this tribute band because we think that Opeth are one of our greatest inspiration in the whole music today and also this music can help us to improve our self as musicians...and probably this inspiration-experience soon will be a good starting point to make our own music!  We recorded some "demo home made" of Opeth covers that you can listen here in our Myspace...! Please post your opinion about the covers, it's a great help for us to know if we can recreate well Opeth magic atmospheres... We didn't played live yet but very soon, like 2 weeks... we will perform somewhere around here. We want to make the people understand at least in this area, that Opeth is more than double pedal blasts and growl, it's poetry.... for all the family  EDIT: Oh... i forgot to tell that this is our setlist for now!
