I haven't posted up a new one in a while, so here it is.

That Little Boy

A tributre track for my son who has a rare kind of brain tumor.

Enjoy

Leper Affinity cover

Hey,

I really enjoy covering Opeth songs, and I have just recorded the first 3 minutes of The Leper Affinity, after the first solo is done. I was just wondering if anyone would critique it. This isn't a means of showing off, as my playing is kind of sloppy, especially the solo. Was just wondering what you guys thought about the overall sound and the mixing.

Thanks,

A funny 1 minute song I've made inspired by opeth

I made this track for a subject (technology applied to music) last year, it had to be 1 minute long, had 2 midi tracks (in this case the keyboard and drums), 2 loops (the bass and the derbake) and 1 audio track (the guitar).
The riff of the guitar is in 7/8 but the song is in 4/4 wich creates something very cool.
It sounds similar to closure, because of the arabian groove, the percussion, and the keyboards of the live version, and it is called "tema loco" wich in english means "crazy song".

Well, interesting, but it just doesn't looks like anything from Opeth. Maybe the keyboard sound, but I guess that isn't enough.

Groovy stuff. The guitar sounds like one of those gigantic pumps that keep a building site dry
