mr bungle is mike patton's weirdness. i have the first two albums, and they are fun to sing along to. dave lombardo does some sick drumming as well.
edit: i just confused mr bungle with fantomas. lombardo is in fantomas. both bands are fun but fantomas is extra fun. the godfather theme cracks me up.i do have the first three mr bungle albums ![]() Last edited by derbeder : May 17th, 2006 at 12:45 PM. |

And I have the other albums, as long as all their demos and some live bootlegs. On my computer, of course. Unfortunately, I haven't found the remaining two albums, yet, but I will get theme, sometime ![]() |

Mr. Bungle makes me giddy
nothing like listening to their songs for the first time and being blind-sided by whatever genre they decide to immediately wander into mid-song... not really stuff you can listen to very regularly though I haven't heard a whole lot of Fantomas... what I have heard though didn't really interest me... especially Delirium Cordia Last edited by Seance : May 17th, 2006 at 12:58 PM. |

I felt that the 'pure wackiness' of Mr Bungle got pretty tiresome pretty quickly. Sure, i did like the craziness at first...but within a few listens i kinda felt they were using it to escape writing proper, well-formed songs.
So yeah, i resold the cds i had bought (got 3 albums at once). Not my thing.

i don't put them on too often either. i need to be in the mood for wackiness. same for fantomas. if i just have to sing the words 'ha ti kia ta hai ti ka', i will put 'Amenaza Al Mundo'. fortunately, the urge usually does not overcome me.
