look, im just making an observation on the type of people who seem to like king, and those who dont. those who dont so far...seem to have a pretty narrow scope in most respects, and have a lot of broadening and refinement needed in my opinion. same goes for king fans in many cases too though. i just dont see the point in picking apart king diamond fans in a king diamond appreciation thread.

True, but its the same as you picking apart Opeth fans in Opeth threads because of their musical tastes. Not that i mind at all, its a laugh.

^ True words...

Besides, it's all the question of mistaking respect with liking... You might respect King Diamond, Black Sabbath or the Beatles for their influence on the genre and still not like to listen to them... But I do agree that people with no respect for the innovators do seem to have a narrowed scope of interest...

I agree it's remarkable... Those two bands are at the top of the metal world...

Can't handle King Dimond due to the shitty vocal delivery... There are way too many other bands to spend time listening too!

i dont think ive ever picked apart Opeth fans in an opeth appreciation thread, UNLESS some ass clown starts going on about how surpassed the beatles are by Opeth or something ridiculous like that.

I wasn't joking about Riverside...
I'm surprised that you don't think the same..
As for OL I would replace them with Pain of Salvation....

What bands besides Opeth do you think are worthy?
