King Diamond is brilliant! i've seen him live 3 weeks ago and he kicked some ass! i'm a huge fan of the King for years. my favorite albums by him being 'Abigail' and 'The Eye'...

don't get me wrong I love his voice, but I think he is a great riff writer and a lyrical mastermind!

Am I the only one who simply cannot stand this dudes voice? It's ridiculous! I mean, it just sounds absolutely horrible. He can't stay in tone, his voice is all over the place when it shouldn't be, no emotion - nothing good at all about his voice. I've listened to one Mercyful Fate album, and while I loved the music, King Diamond physically made my ears hurt. And I felt really bad, because I knew I was missing out on awesome music.
