^not bad, but kind of boring and been done a little too much. I'm digging the lead guitar effects and overall atmosphere. Just needs more dynamics or perhaps more energy so I don't get bored and fall asleep.

good point. atm we're turning down more shows than we're able to play...people don't choose dates that work very well for us. living 200+ miles from any type of metal scene is quite a hinderance as well. We'd be way better off playing punk or country.

Well I'm not going for all out energy really... I guess I'm kinda going for music thats better to lay down and listen to then headbang. And its defintely not totally origional, but I don't think I'm taking anything from just one band. I'll have to upload some full songs, maybe that will give you a different opinion, as a couple songs on there are only about half of the full thing (Untitled 16 is actually about 16 minutes long). And thank you for the input!

no, i wish i had... i have everything written down, and amateurly recorded in pieces... we have a couple of rehearsal recordings at the guitarists place, but nothing good enough to share... but as soon as we get a good recording from somewhere, i will put it up here.

im a naval architect and plan to earn my living from this profession for the rest of my life. thats that

but i also have my own band... we started writing songs (in turkish) past summer. mellow, laid back material. could be compared to nick cave, nick drake, leonard cohen, songshia. we plan to write a few tracks with heavy guitars too. we'll see

my own personal idea of "success" is putting out an album. thats it. i dont care if i make any money or not. therefore, this allows me to write stuff i like and have faith on, not stuff for others to like.

the intellectual thrill of appreciation is, of course, incomparable. i would like that, too. i've been thinking about that lately, too...what kind of an appreciation would i prefer? album sales above thousands, millions or some really good feedback and reviews from people in art and people whom i admired musically?

i can confidently say i would be happier with the second outcome.
