Tago Mago as mentioned before is the best place to start with CAN. Imagine a bunch of Germans playing trippy experimental music while a weird Japanese guy they found on the street is shouting random stuff in various languages, and you have CAN. Some people hate it, some people love it. There's not much more to it than that really. I personally love them best on their more rocking songs. They do have a tendency to get a little too aimless (which a lot of krautrock does) on occasion. |
