I was just viewing the classic piece of art that is Candlemass' video for Bewitched. I don't believe I have seen a thread dedicated to this band yet, and surely they deserve fellation as much as any other. Nightfall is my favourite. . . hows about you???

candlemass annhilates just about any metal band mentioned on this forum. A+++

the first few releases are solid gold.

bewitched vid cracks me up. gotta love big ol' messiah leadibg the walk at the end.
i like nightfall a little better than epicus, but it's been a long while since i listened to both albums.

I don't get it. They have a doom-dance for christs sake. They are an almost happy band sometimes, and they of course have a sound similar to Sabbath.

Excellent band. Pisses me off they've been reunited/started playing shows in what... 2001 or 2002? Recorded a new album and never came to North America... Too bad it looks like Messiah won't sing on the new album they said today after saying he would a while back despite him saying he wasn't.

I was hoping maybe Celtic Frost would bring them over to tour or something since I'm not sure if they could headline the US, though it would be awesome to see a full set. I have an Epicus shirt someone got me from Waken 2002 with Summer of Doom dates on the back. The Epicus picture is all black on a black shirt, it's pretty cool though very tight Euro shirt.
