RUSH

So I'm hee listening to Permanent Waves for the millionth time and this band still amazes me no matter how many times I've listened to their records.

Definitely my favorite prog rock band ever. Geddy, Alex and Neil are all amazing and imo genius.

What's your opinion in regards to this band?

RUSH

I can't get tired of these guys. I must admit "A Test For Echo" can be a little painfull to listen sometimes, though.

Us< Rush

Neil Peart : The Man who had it all and lost everything.

The Rush in Rio DVD is one of my favourite musical DVD ever, I mean people dancing and singing to YYZ, an instrumental !!!

I say South American fans are the most enthousiastic fans on the planet IMO.

I'm gonna pretend you said YYZ

But yeah, we're definitely not worthy of this band.

I'd rather listen to test for echo than about 99.9999999999% of music released in 1996

I'm a Rush fan since i was 13 or something, they are just THE perfect prog band, probably one of my three fave bands of all time. And WorldWide Suicide commented about Permanent Waves...that record is cheer musical genius, and is as good as Moving Pictures, but i still love the more ''rockin''' 70's stuff like Fly by Night...Neil Peart and his brilliant lyrics and drumming...Alex and Geddy completely destroys too, i think Rush deserves a ''best album'' thread tbh.

Well, if we put it in that perspective then yeah, you're completely right Sir.
