Iyo who is better than Loomis?

And what is wrong with using a 7 String?
There are many better.

John Petrucci...far better technically, musically and more diverse.
Alex Laiho...much cleaner chops and superior technique.
Michael Amott...much more dynamic and melodic.
Steve Vai...in a whole other class.
Yngwie Malmsteen...come on, most metalheads are still trying to be him.
Uli Jon Roth...in another stratosphere.
Alex Skolnick...although playing jazz now, he was better way back in '86.
Marty Friedman...much more melodic and interesting soloist.

Loomis is good...these guys are better.

There's nothing wrong with playing a 7 string...that's just idiotic.

John Petrucci's music is lame and boring, his G3 performance blew and there's no way Alex Laiho is better than Loomis

Of course there are better players than Loomis, I dont think he is the best or is he my favourite, but i know how to tell when a guitarist is a great player.

Skolnick was better in 86'? how do you figure that. Morons.

John Petrucci...boring, done, all his songs get tired.
Alex Laiho...good, but just generic neoclassical solos we've heard over and over with some flyod rose waking.
Steve Vai...in a whole other class.(agreed)
Yngwie Malmsteen...neoclassical and thats it. No more no less....
Marty Friedman...bleh

7 strings have kinda a blemished image thanks to korn, deftones, and the like.
