Darkane Thread

I was bored so i'd thought i'd start a thread about one of my favorite metal bands. Thoughts and opinions? I personally, think they're the best technical/thrash metal band around. Christofer Malmström, Peter Wildoer, Jörgen Löfberg, and Klaus Ideberg are all insane musiciains.

Very good musicians, some very nice songs too, but too bad the song structures are often so simple and predictable. It's the same problem I have with Dark Tranquillity.

I loved the electric violin or whatever it was on Rusted Angel.

Yeah, they always have some sort of epic intro to their albums.

If they didn't often have bland choruses, predictable and boring song structures, and a different tone for the guitars and different production, then they could be one of my favorite bands. The potential is definitely there, but the way they are now they're an ok band but nothing special.

I have a couple of albums, i have only listened to them a couple of times. Some pretty decent riffing but bored me a bit. Might give them another try.
