'Passive' is an excellent song. The covers are not that good though, I'll admit.

x 100. Major disappointment. I find it completely unlistenable. And I really like APC. Seen 'em twice, great shows. But that album is craptastic.

Six Feet Under
Deicide

Liv Kristine is great. I rarely like female vocals.

Mer de Noms and 13th Step are fucking amazing, ''emotive'' is a disgrace.

I agree Liv Kristine is amazing, my favorite from her is the song "Mourning Tree" where she is the sole vocalist.

Seriously??????...I find female vocals to be incomparable of course when they are done right, even when the band might be somewhat lacking. I can even appreciate some Epica, Simone Simmons is very good, I would recommend the song "Solitary Ground" from them. Actually, I might need some recommendations for female metal vocalists, all I seem to get on this forum is "The Gathering". Lately I have been listening to Vanguard and early 3rd and the Mortal.

I could name dozens of female vocalists but you aren't interested in folk or prog because you're a sandbox metal noobtard

^Anneke from The Gathering owns, That chick from Paatos(Petronella iirc or something like that) also rules...Madder Mortem has a pretty cool female singer as well, but i won't even try to recommend people like Fiona Apple or Bjork to you.

Edit: To Metal_Wrath

As long as they are not "mainstream" (I have my reasons) I am open to recommendations...
