Mostly Autumn

Has anybody heard them? I like them, folky floydish stuff. Only bad thing is the male singer which is not so great, but has a particular voice. Whaddayaguys think?

I heard of them through Ayreon, and their lead singer (Heather Finlay?) has a really nice voice. That's all I've heard of them though.

^ She's her lead singer now, on the older albums the other guy was the lead singer and she did mainly backing vocals. She's improved a lot though. Anyway they do some kind of melacholic prog/folk rock, they have some nice melodies.

I do like them from what I've heard, I was actually thinking the other day I need to find a full album to start on. What album would you recommend I start on Carta's?

Depends on what you're looking for. Well, the more melacholic-folky are the first two (For All We Shared... and Spirit Of The Autumn Past), the last are more rock. I prefer the first, they are more atmospheric, even if the voice sometimes isn't as good as on the last works. My favourite is Spirit Of The Autumn Past, so, yeah, that's my reccomandation

Heather is truly a beautiful woman. Best of all that Ayreon has used.

Excellent band. "The Last Bright Light" is my favorite. Bryan Josh(Ithink that's his name) plays guitar and his work is very reminicsient of David Gilmour.
