The Foreshadowing - Italian band for people who think Katatonia are just a bit too upbeat. Highly recommended :-
Green Carnation - What can I say? Varied, but always brilliant. Giant Squid - ND's label mates on The End Records. To me they sound like System Of A Down meets 60's psychedelic rock and picked up early Black Sabbath along the way. An acquired taste perhaps, but I like them. |

Not sure if they have been mentioned yet, but ORPHANED LAND are owning me right now.
They are from Israel. At first listen, reminds me of Nov Doom, Opeth, and Agalloch all rolled into one.

I mentioned it earlier again but figured I'd post a song. Definitely not my favorite from the album but you can get a feel for them. Pretty sure this is a fan made video also but whatever. It's an Italian band called Klimt 1918, not metal but fucking excellent music.
