lol, been there... we lost a song and only found out during editing that it wasn't there. low tech minidisc days... at least we had the singer to blaim not that he wouldn't have gotten the blaim if it were someone else, he was the vocalist after all and the drummer wasnt there

once the guitarist in that band forgot to put on a capo, stopped playing and said to the audience through the mic: we need to restart this song, our drummer dropped in in the wrong key

technology... it always messes things up :P we should go back to humanity's "beating on drums" era, nothing can go wrong there

One of the new songs I wrote recently has given me trouble in the technical department for some odd reason. I sat down and completely demoed out the song, multitracked bass and keyboards and even a couple small potential vocal ideas. When the band arrived and I went to play the disc for them......it was blank. I still have no clue as to how or why that happened. I tried to record it again, and wound up running out of disc space about 2/3rds of the way through tracking all the bits. So I had to start a 3rd time, wound up having to leave off a couple of tracks of ideas in order to conserve space, and finally it kept. I think it's cursed. We'll see what happens when we go to properly record the song in the studio!

Anyhow, getting off topic here, sorry.

Looking through old calendars and stuff to get exact showdates, hopefully have them up soon. One date I cannot find (as it predated my involvement in the band anyhow), does anyone know the date of the Obituary/Novembers Doom show @ Jackhammers, in 1998 (I believe)? Been searching online for some clue and found nothing.

All of your best tours havent hit MN, Heathen Crusade was cool, but tours with Agalloch, Saturnus. Shows with Daylight Dies... those bands are fantastic.
and I realize they were in Europe, but Dates with DRACONIAN.

I know! We've always had little luck with getting bookings for tours any further west than Chicago. The east coast is always good for it, for some reason. We'd love to come to Minneapolis to play again, hopefully something good will come up soon.

I'm pretty sure we do. I have an absolute TON of videos from shows we've played, so off the top of my head, I can't be positive, but if I remember, you guys filmed at that fest correct?
