Pretty good Sthlm death. Unleashed - Across the open sea Unleashed - Warrior "ATOS" is pure fucking brilliance, while "Warrior" is Unleashed's worst album, but still pretty decent overall. Incantation - Onward to Golgotha CD/DVD Br0000000tal! Can't get more blasphemous than this! Morbid Angel - Abominations of Desolation Morbid Angel - Covenant Morbid Angel - Domination Had to finally complete my David Vincent-era MA collection. Good shit. Especially "Domination" of course! Malevolent Creation - Retribution Malevolent Creation - Ten CommandmentsI never liked this band's later stuff. I heard a song off "Retribution" though and I really got into their Florida death metal/Dark Angel thrash mixture. SWEET! Therion - Lepaca Kliffoth Therion - Theli Just cos they were cheap. I had these and sold them many years ago. I definitely like these albums more these days than I did back in the days! Repulsion - Horrified 2CD Venom meets Bathory meets blastbeats! Can't get much better than that! Solitude Aeturnus - Alone Gods of American doom! Me like! Rotting Christ - Theogonia Best since "Triarchy..."! Grave Digger - Liberty or Death Meh. when I got money, I have to spend it...to superb cd's!
first one in row: Paragon Impure - To Gaius (For The Delivery Of Agrippina) four songs, half an hour pure black metal hatred! everything a "modern" quality BM album needs is on this one. A great sound, very well played riffs and a voice from the darkest depths of the Abyss! the lyrics are all based upon the life of the roman Emperor Caligula, and the madness of this personality reflects in the music... great! Ghremdrakk - Sterrenpracht BM it is again, but not as straight forward as PI. this is more complexe, yet agressive as fuck! I can't really describe it, but it is an amazing record for sure... Kilte - Absence Funeral Doom BM, whatever to call it, but this is good! what did I say? this is GREAT! if you like some melancholic slow BM in the vein of Nortt, you will surely like this one! three Hellgium releases I'm very proud of to have them, and see them made in my country! interested? www.deaden.org (that's were I bought them, and a friend of mine runs it!)

Unleashed - Victory Death metal victory!! Tiamat - The Astral Sleep Never liked this as a kid but it sounds way better now. Surprisingly good! Massacre - From Beyond CLASSIC DEATH METAL!! Trouble - The Skull CD+DVD CLASSIC DOOM METAL!! Hammerfall - Threshold Ehem...not that good. The chorus of the title track made me buy it Raise Hell - City Of The Damned Me like. Thrash metal meets Morgana Lefay! Sabaton - Primo Victoria This is how all power metal should sound! Super simplistic yet impossible to resist. Seance - Saltrubbed Eyes CLASSIC THRASH! Atheist - Elements Had to complete my Atheist collection. Not their best album but still a decent platter. Messiah - Hymn to Abramelin Old skool! Bang your heads for satan! System of a Down - Mezmerize System of a Down - Hypnotize These ones I got for my fiancée. 50% good, 50% crap. Also pre-ordered the new Watain album and the re-releases of Sabbat's "Dreamweaver" and "History...". |

yeah, there is a big fuss in Belgium about Sabaton, and indeed they are quite good for a power metal band. downloaded (yeahyeah...) their Primo Victoria album and there are some very powerfull songs on it!

Sabaton is all the rage here in Sweden as well, winning awards left and right. I was immediately caught by them when I got the PV promo a few years back but I never got around to actually buying the album until now. I don't like buying power metal albums (since they're the kind that most likely only comes out at parties) until they're on sale

I have to admit I have DLed quite a lot of music but I'm slowly getting into the habit of buying albums now.
Last albums I bought were.. Battle Metal - Turisas (Defies description...) Touched By The Crimson King - Demons & Wizards (Great album, love both Blind Guardian and Iced Earth) Come What(ever) May - Stone Sour (Has one or two good tracks but the rest are kinda "meh") Any suggestions? I'm not a great fan of black metal to be honest, Turisas are about as extreme as I like it :P. I desperatley need some new bands similar to Turisas... Big fan of power metal though, and good old heavy, Maiden-esque metal =D

finally got my hands on this one.. good mastering, nice extra's (the whole album in a different mix and some demo tracks + the Where Dead Angels Lie mcd) classic album! Serpentcult - Trident Nor Fire (mcd) Belgiums hope in dark days... what a band. combining the Sludge/Doom of their former band Thee Plague Of Gentlemen with a '70 hard rock touch (fucking awesome Uriah Heep cover) , featering female vocals (with huuuuuge balls) makes this a very, very promising act in the (belgian) metalscene. doom or be doomed www.serpentcult.be Nox - Ixaxaar superb Occult Death Metal. the extreme of Vader and Morbid Angel in combination with Occult/Satanic lyrics makes this a must have for all Death Metal fans out there... Hail Choronzon333! Watain - Sworn To The Dark killer album, even better then Casus Luciferi imo... this is how true Satanic BM should be! WataiN is here to Crush and Slay!

Unleashed - Midvinterblot Unleashed - Sworn Allegiance Thus completing my Unleashed collection. It's weird because I never liked Unleashed as a kid. Lately I've gone completely bonkers over them and now I have everything they've released. Musical tastes are weird. Candlemass - Chapter VI CD+DVD I love this album, no matter what anyone (including Leif Edling) says! Sold my old copy and bought the remastered version. Sounds way better and brings out the fantastic songs even more! Twin Obscenity - Blood, Honour and Soil Standard stuff but good enough to drink some beers to. Therion - Gothic Kabbalah Best since the mighty Theli imho. Catchy stuff! Eternal Autumn - The Storm Brilliant old-school thrash/death! Should've been huge in a fair world! |

Wasn't expecting anything this good from Marduk but this rules! Dödheimsgard - Supervillain Outcast This will take some time to digest. Sounds good though. Sanctimonious Order - Thy Kingdom Boooooooring. Negura Bunget - Om Masterpiece! Anaal Nathrakh - Eschaton Best thus far from AN. Variation is the key to success! Watain - Sworn to the Dark Another fine piece of blackened magick! Obtest - Is Kartos I Karta Great Estonian pagan metal! Beautiful melodies and one hell of a drive! King Diamond - Them King Diamond - Abigail What needs to be said? Two classic heavy metal albums. Godgory - Way Beyond Pretty cool but far to "samey" overall. Heavenwood - Diva Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring. And Oceans - Cypher Decent but bland. Setherial - Endtime Divine SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATAN!!!! Nice Naglfar black but not as good. Halford - Crucible Meh. Machine Head - The Blackening Surprisingly good. By far their best ever! Almost Vio-Lence quality at times! Dimmu Borgir - In Sorte Diaboli Good but no masterpiece.
