Pull some of the lower end down on that snare, it sounds almost woolen. The snare hits are definitely taking the focus away from the rest of the mix.

Maybe a muliband comp just to keep the string noise from the bass in check, gets a bit too prominent in the chorus.

Love your spin on it man, the bass and guitars gel nicely

Yeah i know snare has a lot of lows in it, a bit too much, and its definitely too loud.

I found the vocals a bit distracting too.

Yo Cory! Thanks for uploading these stems, they gave me a great training opportunity

I got some issues getting such a clean DI sound. Where those all new strings? What bass guitar did you use for this?
I'm running everything straight into my interface, a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24DSP. Do you use any pre-amps?

I know this thread is quite old already, but I'd really like it if you could help me out on this.
