Grand Magus - Iron Will
Anyone familiar with this Swedish band or their latest album Iron Will? I've read some very positive reviews and the few tracks on their Myspace sound great. Classy and heavy.
I'm not previously familiar with this band at all so other album recommendations are most welcome as well.

The new stuff sounds great (have heard only bits and pieces before). But the real reason for my post is to praise that cool, Hair of the Dog style cover art!

I downloaded it like a month ago, didnt leave any marks on me, very average Sabbath-heavy/doom

I have their first 2 albums: "Grand Magus(s/t)" & "Monument". I think they're a good doom band! But I'm a doom fan!
Thanks for the myspace link. I added them to my friends request list.

Their first album was pretty good. Haven't heard any of their later albums yet.

Well my copy just arrived and I won't say they're doom. A pretty damn good heavy metal, but the tempo is way too fast for doom.

This is actually a really great album. I was very into them for a while then lost interest, but this has definitely brought it back. Probably their best album, really surprised me.

So "Wolf's Return" is also heavy fast like this one on still more doom/stoner (whatever)?
