I never could get past the singer...I know I'm not alone.
Demmel and Flynn from Vio-lence are in Machine Head. Flynn started the band. Not only are they now Machine Head, they've been Machine Head for close to 15 years.

It took a while for the singer to grow on me but once I got used to him, Eternal Nightmare became one of those timeless CDs that slip into my "must own" category.

Yeah the singing sounds very awful at first. But there is some great riffs in that album.

Good to see another Oregonian out there!
The guys got an odd style,a bit of an accent that would probably work better in a punk band but it never really bothered me.

Rest in Peace My Justheart
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found? The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

Not true...Killian's voice (and his style) just gets on my nerves. I enjoyed the music for the most part...and actually have Eternal Nightmare on cd from when it first came out. I listened to it for a month or so. There are MANY better Bay Area thrash albums.
The last Machine Head album is killer.
