Best Testament Album
What is the Best Testament album? With Alex, or post-Skolnick?
Mine is The New Order

I voted for The Legacy. I think all of Testament's albums are good except for Demonic. The song Demonic Refusal is ok but I cant handle a whole album like that. The Gathering was really good and First Strike Is Deadly was great. Another personal fav of mine is Practice What You Preach.

The Legency. One Testament album I really like is 'Live At The Filmore'. The acoustic songs at the end are really good.

Practice What You Preach
It's a tie between that and The Gathering for me.Practice for the old school and Gathering for the new.

I feel guilty picking just one since ALL of Testament's albums are killer. I pick The Gathering because it sums up elements of all their previous albums.

I voted for 'Practice What You Preach' simply for its significance in MY metal music history. But based on my current tastes, I'd go with 'The Gathering.'

First of all to me the question should be which style of testament. I love The ritual, and souls of black, but the latest stuff is harder and more aggresive in my opinion. The gathering would get my final vote though. Plus Dave Lombardo on the drums just kick ass. My$0.02

Legacy and New Order were amazing, and perhaps were the best. But I voted for First Strike (and so far, I'm the only one). Not easy to do, but it's just an incredible album. It has the songs that I love from the first two albums, and the sound is just the best. That album just gets me so pumped when I listen to it.
There are no losers though, when we're talking Testament albums...

"The New Order" to me is definitely the best. " The Legacy" is a good pure thrash album, but I think TNO just has more to it musically. TNO has a crapload of awesome songs that are played live all the time ( Eerie, Title Track, Trial, Into the Pit, Disciples, Preacher).
Believe it or not, I actually think Souls of Black but be their second best. It's a truly underrated album...sure , the production isn't that great, but songs like Face in the Sky, Malpractice, and Seven Days of May should be payed more attention to and played live.
I'm having a hard time decide which my second favorite, that or the Legacy, but who cares, it's the overall best, so like I said, The New Order.
