lyric translation for Sorskogen?
Could any of you Swedish fans of Opeth provide a translation of the lyrics of the Sorskogen song Mordet i Grottan?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Wow, thanks alot.
Guess I should've searched through the forum a little first, though I'm still fairly new to all this and get lost quite easily. Thanks for your help, it was much appreciated. |

No problem m8.
If you don't knwo about it, the search function is in the upper part of the index page, called "Advanced search" there, pick the Opeth forum and type what you want to know. The thing is, a lot of people here are tired of hearing the same questions, and some are just rude when they tell you to search instead. Hope no one shows up ![]()

Alternative translation.
I thought the translation above had some room for improvement, so I gave it a shot. Here we go:
English: The Murder in the Cave A summer, once, The warmth sweeps through. We smile, laughing, But a deceitful tranquillity settles. Somewhere in the forest, The cave where we played as kids, A mutilated body, in eternal sleep, Deprived the dawn of life. Who murdered him? Who took his life? Nobody knows, even today. Casting darkness over our idyll, A light that shines tenderly, Take us to better days. His soul roams on. We walk back slowly, The path leads us home. The day draws to an end. We try to forget The murder in the cave. Who murdered him? Who took his life? Nobody knows, even today. The song. |

As Hexwind said, he has a board here. He's very active on that board. So is his brother and also the bass player of Nightingale.
