Is steven wilson gay?

No offenses, but as I watched opeth's dvd I noticed he weared a ear-ring on his right ear and couldn't see any on the left one. In portugal (and surely other countries) only gay man use it in the right ear (I've 2 ear-holes on the left and 1 ear-hole on the right one and I'm hetero). Is it like driving cars in UK in which one has the steering wheel on the right?

Listen, dude, I didn't want to delete this outright. His sexuality, whilst questionable by some, isn't open to debate... it's part of his own personal life and it really has no place on here.
