Just FYI, yeah, Bioshock was alright, didn't think it lived up to its predecessor in anyway though, System Shock 2 for the win.

Hmm, I haven't played Bioshock, but this is not good news. By the way, SS2 was good but didn't quite live up to its predecessor (SS) either

I don't know about your tv but mine looks blocky and grainy with low definition/resolution, unlike my PC. Not that graphics really matter a whole lot.

I bought Bioshock two weeks ago, and its just been sitting unopened on my shelf due to my addiction to the "2worlds" game for the 360.

I'll admit I play my games about 60/40 with 60% being on tv. While obviously you need a HDTV with a xbox 360 or ps3 to get the most out of graphics, to me it's a lot more comfortable playing games on a tv. It's a shame the best games are on PC. I'm currently addicted to NeverWinter Nights on my PC and Elder Scrolls IV(over a year of playing this ) on the 360.

Halo is an enjoyable game, the grpahics are nice and the gameplay is very enjoyable, but IMO Bioshock is so much more unique and it's so beautiful.

I was looking forward to Two Worlds for months, it's a shame it got terrible reviews. I hope you're having fun with it though.

It's not as good as Oblivion from the combat perspective, but it's still a great representation of a fantasy world. The game has tons of cool stuff to do, and there is Dragons... yes Dragons something Oblivion doesn't have. There is not as many houses to explore like in Oblivion, but it looks just as good as Oblivion especially in first person mode.

Bioshock, in terms of gameplay, is just a mix between DOOM and Prey. Not only do you have about the same weapons as in doom/prey, but you have to do the same stuff. "Go find this object to open this door and then repeat." And then occasionally a guy will pop out of the darkness at you. Then they said they were going to try the fable thing where when you harvest/rescue the little sisters, it will change the storyline. And all then they just give you a few alternate endings.

When Halo first came out you were able to drive vehicles yourself for the first time; you couldn't drive the vehicles yourself in the other FPS games out for consoles. Halo also has multiplayer, which greatly extends the replay value. Even the campaign is interesting enough that I can still pop it in and play it occasionally. Bioshock is like fable, once you play it twice, you're done.

Halo3 is bringing all sorts of new gameplay features, such as video playback. You can record all of your single/multi player games and watch them in any angle you want, take screenshots, or watch it in slow-mo. 4 player online co-op. 'nuff said.

Why would you want to watch yourself from different angles? IN fact, why would you want to watch it a second time? You do the campaign and you see everything you need I reckon.

Best games for PS2 are easily the God of War series and Silent Hill 2 and 3, period.

Key word theres, -consoles- all of the features you listed have been common place PC game features for years, Halo may be something worth playing if you have missed out on years of great PC games, but otherwise its just like many of the average run o the mill PC shooters that come out unnoticed.

Regardless, none of this seems very Opeth related anymore.

im actually playing bioshock atm, funny thing just happned, a big daddy was running towards me, i was shooting it with a shotgun, it fell over, slid towards me and slid right to my feet dead, where, for good measure, and the knowledge that i have never been so lucky in a game before, shot another two bullets into the mutha fuckers head!! WOO!

good game so far!!

i just brought a bass guitar so im gonna go play that now!!

p.s. half life two is the best game i have EVER played. and halo 3 is gonna be great!
