Al-Namrood are awesome! They have a new album out in January 2012 Kitab Al Awthan:

Looks like Khepri has a new release in January (5th) 2012 too:

So there's a few things to look forward to next year!

Anyone else know of other oriental metal releases soon / next year?

ok im convinced, just bought amaseffer.

I love the tunisian band Myrath as well too. Tales from the sand was one of my two fave albums in 2011

Amaseffer is good, but not that good imho.

Myrath is a very good band indeed, good melodies and refrains.

I would recommend Farzad Golpayegani from Iran. His music is all instrumental. Most of his albums are metal, except his album "Four," very much like Yossi Sassi's new solo album, teeming with Oriental melodies.
