NEW YEAR GIFT! Song for Mixing!
So, I promised multi tracks for a song from a release I mixed and mastered that I posted here not long ago, here are the multitracks for it!
Here's the link: . And my mix for reference so you know what kind of music you're downloading: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/617922/Track%2003.mp3 There are 55 files, mainly because all leads have 2 different mics, I separated the vocals to a folder of their own. Files are at 24bit 48khz. Tempo is 145BPM (not 100% sure on this, please do check it out and confirm) Also, I've had a few PMs in the past about the drum tone and sample blending on an all girl rock band I did. Here's a song for reference: And here's the link to the SSD preset, I created this with SSD LE 3.5 so I'm not sure if SSD EX loads right with it. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/617922/Evarose%20DrumKit.nkm Hope you guys enjoy this and HAVE FUN!!! Cheers! ![]() Last edited by Pedro Teixeira : May 20th, 2011 at 11:59 AM. |

It was tracked pretty low I guess, I didn't track it, but I didn't have any problems with it as you can hear. Just had to turn up the gain a little bit on the overheads and that was it if I recall correctly

@Sptz
Can you resave that nkm in a different way? it won't load in my Kontakt 4, I have Slate EX + all expansions.

Are you using Kontakt 3.5? That's what I'm using. I'm going to check that when I get to work, but I did test opening a new instance and loading the file, it did open up correctly... Could it be because you need to either own le or platinum? Still it should work..

From what I just read on SSD forums, the libraries have differently encrypted so presets between LE and Platinum for example wont work, even though Platinum has all the kits of LE... So I'm not really sure what can be done : l

https://www.dropbox.com/s/swiscogog0...oad%20Flat.mp3 dammit I'm listening on it and i don't like my mix now :s
some voices need to be more leveled. few guitars need little boost... and there is some reverb too big.… anyone can tell me anything else about my mix? :3 i'm just learning and practising, that would be nice!! thanks Last edited by diafebus : January 7th, 2011 at 09:46 AM. |
