Speed Metal - need advices!
No automation. Processing and levels only. It's the same guy that plays guitars and bass. Not a very clean and tight playing. Drums are programmed. Instrumental version for now. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/36870048/cliproughmix.mp3
Opinions and advices on the mix are welcome! Full mix with vocals http://dl.dropbox.com/u/36870048/fullmix1.mp3 Last edited by Heabow : May 9th, 2012 at 06:27 AM. |

The mix is really good!
I wouldn't change a thing to be honest. Best thing is the vocal processing, really nice. One little thing, the bass could cut a little bit more through, I think the guitars have a bit too much lowend or the bass not enough presence. Maybe you could work on that but still, you could leave the mix as it is by now. Good work! |

Thanks for the feedback.
I didn't notice anything about guitar low-end but maybe a multiband comp would be usefull. Will throw an eye on this. Apart from that, they need maybe a little cut around 6kHz... Last edited by Heabow : May 5th, 2012 at 04:07 AM. |

Update: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/36870048/fullmix2.mp3
Sometimes, it sounds like it's a bit too dry and sometimes not... |
