I think that is a good idea. I would suggest you make a little distinction between all impulses and those most people use, because those tend to be the best ones, even if it's up to you to find a good other one.
Anyway, it's not free but it's worth it : don't forget www.recabi.net ! |

It's just a set of impulses, you just buy for downloading a folder with wavs inside.
I guess making a good vst would be a challenge, it's not the same deal at all as recording good impulses, it's about programming. And that would only be useful is they were sure they were doing better than the others. And with nick crow or revalver messing around, that must be a difficult thing ! BTW, I recommend that people don't spam too much here so that it stays quite a clean thread to read for all peoples seeking the impulses ! |

In my signature, I linked to two collections I have made. They're not the best, but there's over 1,000 in just those two links.

Hey quick question... would you guys apprieciate it more if i took the "Guitar Cab Impulse Collection" folder and broke it down to sub sections? for example... folders for the vintage 30 in a 4x12 and so on through all of them so you dont have to download all of them if u dont want them? might make things easier for everyone
let me know and ill do it tonight

Bribes work REALLY well. Head, beer, gear and cash. Not necessarily in that order.

What about those POD impulses.. I dont really understand how they work :S
"If you open the British Blues (Marshall JTM45) folder and use the Blackface Twin impulse, that means you are using the Marshall JTM45 with a Blackface Twin cabinet." |
