Here are the best releases I've heard so far:

Ivanhoe - Walk In Minefields: A carry-over of the old band Charisma, with two band members and a new singer that reminds me of Cea Serin/Dan Gildenlow. Vocalist is very talented and has a great range (but I still prefer the voice of Charisma's Annete Kienzle). Fantastic CD!

Dark Suns - Existence: From Leipzig, Germany come this dark and atmospheric prog metal in the vein of Riverside/Green Carnation. Over 75 minutes of music. A top pick! Label is Prophecy Productions.

The Mars Volta - Frances The Mute: 2nd full length CD (not including 2 EPs). The CD has a 30 minute epic. Guitar player is on a genius-level. This is a band unlike anything you've ever heard before.
