In the event that I want to convert my cash before flying over to Denmark, what am I converting to? I am under the impression that Denmark is using Kroners still and not the Euro, is that right? Or should I just keep my cash in USD? And how about Mastercard? haha.

Yepp...we are still using Kroner in Denmark. The dollar is pretty weak at the moment, so you won't get a lot for your money....sorry. I think the best way is to get a good offer at home in your bank, rather than taking money out of a machine here in Copenhagen. Not all stores accept Mastercard (though 80% or so), but 99% accept VISA.
