PP SCAN 2008 - the next 2 bands announced

It's with great pleasure we can now announce the next two bands for ProgPower Scandinavia 2008.

Nostradameus from Sweden will be the band to kick off the entire festival Friday October 31st. A fantastic live band that unites full-speed-ahead power metal, classic metal anthems, tons of energy and a good deal of technicality. The band made one of the best power metal discs in 2007 with the awesome "Pathways", and went straight on a European tour with Jon Oliva's Pain to great success all around. With the next album due sometime in 2008, this is the perfect band to get our festival started out.

Raintime hailing from Italy is second band on stage Saturday November 01st. In spite of their young age (both as individuals as well as a band) they clearly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in 2007, due to their amazing "Flies & Lies" album, gaining huge praisal from media and fans all around the world. A unique mixture of modern day melo-death metal and more powerful progressive music, that will attract an audience from all the different scenes within the heavy metal genre.
