For those with Guitar Hero 3

There is a bonus song by a band called An Endless Sporadic. The song is called Impulse. It has a progressive feel to it but it also has these nice organs in it that make it kinda sound like lounge music. Either way, it's the funnest song in the game.

If I have time this week and it still hasn't shipped out I'll go hunting to see if stores still have it in stock for the Wii. Might not be the worst thing in the world if I have to wait though, with all the other work I have to do right now

Mine is on the way... supposed to arrive tomorrow - can't wait to try out the new wireless Les Paul - I'm tired of yanking the cords out of my 360 with the X-Plorer. A buddy of mine picked it up for the PS2 yesterday and we burned through several of the songs on the new Co-Op Career mode. It is definitely nice having more master tracks than were previously included with prior GH releases. I suspect that GHIV will probably have all master tracks given its enormous and still-growing popularity. We also tried the new Battle mode which seems like it will be pretty fun in the long run, too.

My biggest gripe about the new game so far - the band animations (and specifically the drummer) are terrible. Not that I watch them all that much when I'm playing, but when someone else is playing and you actually notice them it's laughable just how bad they look.

Well just as I suspected, I can't beat Dragonforce. I can't even get past the damn intro. There's always gotta be one track... couldn't beat Jordan on GH2 and I don't anticipate beating the DF either.

Will be getting the PS3 version eventually. There's supposed to be a PC version coming out which I kind of want because I'm sure there will be a ton of user content for custom songs (that don't require you to hack your system).
For anyone interested, you can join tour groups through the website even if you're not on the same platform. Can make a PP tour group. I'd join but my friend already has one set up that I'll be joining. http://www.guitarhero.com/

My mom bought my son a Wii for his birthday just so she can buy him Guitar Hero for Christmas. All I can say is I can't fucking wait to check it out.

That is all!

No. Every time I play guitar hero I figure I should be playing my real guitar. Though guitar hero can help with timing...

Yet it is a lot of fun.. so I guess its just about having fun playing the game. But doing the work to get really good at it doesn't seem worth it to me. So hard to buy. I plan on just renting GH3 someday and playing through all the songs.
