There's some songs I would really like to see in Guitar Hero. And I'm kind of disappointed with Guitar Hero 3 tracks compared to #2. I'm hoping they offer some of those songs as downloadable content for PS3 since you can't play Guitar Hero 2 on the system.

Can't agree more. It's obvious they tried to balance all the different genres for GH3, and that's fine from a "we're trying to target everyone" point of view. But I had to bite my lip, kill a kitten, beat my brains in, etc. everytime I finished five horrible songs in Career Mode only to uncover five more horrible songs. One, Raining Blood, Number of the Beast, and Through the Fire and Flames are great to play, but that's pretty much all there is. To top it off, all the bonus tracks are just abysmal

Yeah, most of the bonus tracks are pretty bad, save for maybe a few exceptions that are only redeemable because they are just fun to play, not actually good songs.

Rock Band set list looks really boring to me. I mean, I couldn't think of a worse Soundgarden song to play. And why overlap with Cherub Rock? It was nice to see a Bon Jovi song, as I figured GH would have gotten to that already. And when the hell are well gonna see some Zep or Floyd?

Don't get me wrong. I'm not knocking Prototype. It's just that the song* doesn't do it for me .... it doesn't help either that playing through the song on GH is my first time hearing anything from Prototype, i.e. I had no idea who they were beforehand.

Furthermore, you might as well say it would be worth reporting to Jesper that I said that a bonus In Flames song was abysmal. I like In Flames. However, the song in the game is just not good for me - something from their earlier albums would have been a lot better for me.

*The solo section is a complete joy to play through, and it sounds great
