Knock me over with a feather...
But today I got my first ever child support payment check in the mail! It's almost a joke amount (think of leaving a $1 tip for a $3000 bar tab), but it's the pricincpal of the matter. And it's only taken 7.5 years to get it...
But I'm not holding my breath in anticipation for the full arrears amount ($30K), or for this to be a regular thing... but damn, feels good to at least get one, even if it only barely covers one day of child care. -MetalRose
