Does yone recall a fake commercial ( could have been snl) that was for a testical hamock for old men? I can't find it. It showed this old dude with some low hanging family jewels and he would hurt them all the time because they dangled thus the hamock. Thye showed him sitting on a toilet and you heard a splash sound and he said something like "dammit, they fell in the toilet again" etc....and so on.
Anyone? Edit...............................found it. Last edited by FatesFan : January 16th, 2008 at 09:29 PM. |

You get 40 MPG??? I think I averaged around 30 most recently, with a bit of highway driving in my daily commute. far as I know, our cars were identical minus the signage. ![]() I finally got a new car--the Escorts are really horrible in safety ratings, so I did some research and picked the safest car under $20K I could find. I wound up with a Ford Focus (4-door, with side airbags). I never liked their looks, but the safety factor is much more important to me. I got a pretty good price on it (about $1K more than I paid for the Escort in '01) and it's supposed to get 28-35 but I've been averaging 25 MPG so far, 30 if I'm taking the Interstate the whole time on a tank. Had it about 6 months, so I'm starting to be disappointed with the mileage, but I'm still hoping it improves. Just some info. ![]() |

Hmm, thanks, Shaye. Was your ZX2 a stick or automatic? Mine's a stick, and I think that makes a difference. Plus, I tend to be pretty easy on the revs. Lately it's been averaging a bit less in the cold weather and the s/n/o/w/ slush.
