Ah that was a killer episode! I can't wait to see the other "future/present/whatever" of the other characters.. At the end of last season we saw Jack and Kate, and now we have Hurley and "friend" (no spoilers! lol!). Was the new episode just 1 hour or two? My allergy meds knocked me out and I woke up around 7:58 (whew!) When I turned it on, I saw the very end of last season and then a car chase, so I got all the new stuff right? *hopes*

I had to work last night, so I programmed the vcr to tape. Well I must have forgotten to put the cable box on the right channel because when I got home an rewound it I had recorded two hours of C-SPAN!

Luckily, someone at work taped it as well, so they will bring it to work on Monday for me to watch.

I love Lost. Own the first 3 seasons on DVD. Last night was a great start. Ben and Desmond are the best characters in my opinion. They add so much to the show. The spoilers I read on the oceanic 6 are right on the money so far. I read that episode 3 and 4 are insane.

Desmond is my favorite too, along with Sayid. And who knows, just because the Oceanic 6 survives doesn't mean nobody else does. Desmond wasn't on the plane so he might still make it.

I also can't fathom why in the world anyone chose to follow Locke. He's clearly too consumed by the island to make a rational decision regarding the lives of others. Whereas Jack(although irrational at times) is still just a guy trying to get the fuck off the island. That, and the fact that his last name is Shepherd, is why I'd have followed him in a heartbeat.

Sayid is certainly one of my favorites, along with Jin & Sun, and Sawyer. I thought Mr Echo was cool too.

I don't know anything about the "Oceanic 6" so don't tell me! lol! I'm not going to read the spoilers because LOST is one of the few things I look forward to.

With the information that has been revealed on the show to this point, I would absolutely follow Locke! There is no way I would be stupid enough to follow Jack considering all the deception and weird crap that everyone has experienced on the island. But you raise a good point about his last name being Shepard.. hmm... And "Locke" is a variation on the name "Loki" the god of Mischief. I'll have to think about this a little more, but right now, because of Charlie's "Not Penny's Boat" I'd be staying away from the rescuers until we figured out what was going on with them. I mean, look at Ben - they accepted him right away and how wrong have they been so far?! So if I were on the island, I'd not trust anyone falling from the sky to be who they say they are

Yes it was, i've been catching up with Lost as of late. Watched all of season2 last week and hopefully finishing season3 before Thursday
