Just gotta say that Video game competitions are nothing new. People literally make a career out of being a gamer. It just makes sense since this game is popular. I agree with what you are saying in essence though.

Nothing is more metal than smashing a Cello at a symphonic concert.
Unless you get up, smash your cello into the tympani, and go on a tuba rampage. That would be most excellent, and far more metal than anything Guitar Hero has to offer.
