Headliner picks? Labyrinth comes to mind...Vanden Plas, if the visa issues can be ironed out. Definitely Iced Earth w/Ripper...not sure that could happen considering the $. I would really like to see Angel Dust return...with new material. Not sure about a headliner spot though...maybe Showcase. I believe Vicious Rumors would do well. Another return engagement would be Brainstorm...not a biggie with me, but would probably go over good. Someone mentioned Eldritch...I've liked them since their beginning...newer material not as strong as earlier stuff IMO, but it is heavier. It's getting harder every year to call these.

IE and Amorphis were the perfect choices for this, as I am a longtime fan of each act. I am also thrilled that RR will be playing he fest, as well.

I was among the first who supported Amorphis as the headliner choice for the Shocwase. Doesn't that count just a wee little bit, too?

Oops, I read your posting in the Gigantour thread today, so I'm not the only one. When I named Amorphis as a headliner, actually it was just a wish, not a prediction. Wow, I never thought this would really happen.

Overall, this year's lineup looks more than great. Now, all I want is some Helloween-like bands for the Showcase.
