Not a fanatic, but I do like some of their songs including Makes Me Wanna Sing, Holding On, and especially Believe.

Are you a veteran? I LOVE "Believe"! They'll be playing the States later this year, with all details to follow.

Yep, big fan here since the Y&BA E.P. I've seen them many, many, times over the years and they have always been an excellent live band. Fave albums are 'Soldiers' & 'To Hell w/ the Devil'. I've always been a bigger fan of Michael Sweet's playing compared to Oz Fox. I have always said, and I firmly believe it, if they hadn't 1-been a Christian band & 2-hadn't had the whole yellow & black stripes gimmicky thing they would have been much bigger. They were one of the best & most talented bands of that era...great songs and great chops.

Big fan here! Got to see them on at Cornerstone Festival in 2001, that was a real treat! I had all four original members sign my mint-condition "To Hell With the Devil" vinyl with the original artwork; the gem of my vinyl collection. My favorite song of their's would have to be the title track from that disc or "Loud and Clear!"

I also like a lot of Michael's solo material. In fact, his s/t album was the very first disc in my mountain of Christian rock, metal, and industrial music. "Real" is my favorite accomplishment of his solo career; that title track, imo, is profound.

Glad to see other fans here too! I've always thought it would be fun to dress as the band for Halloween, but can you believe I can't find 3 other people that want to wear yellow & black spandex?

Right on! "Real" is my favorite MS song, for sure. I've seen Stryper play live twice so far, both shows at CenterStage. Great live band! Been a fan for 22 years now!

I used to love this band back in the day. I saw them once in 1987 when I was a senior in high school. HURRICANE was the opening band. My buddy that went with me caught one of the bibles they tossed out. I actually loved the gimmicky black and yellow striped shit. That made them different from everyone else. I wish they still did it.

Most hair I ever saw on stage.

I had all their albums on cassette back in the day, but I've not gone back to pick them up on disc. I should get around to it, I enjoyed most of their stuff.

Favorite song: "The Way", heavier and faster than most of their contemporaries. I totally agree with the guy who said if they had dropped the silly clothes and overt Christianity they would be bigger than they were.
