I thought Avenger of Blood and Leatherwolf was best of the fest myself. Probably would have skipped Saturday night, but I had tickets to both nights since I bought them originally when they first went on sale.

I would like to see a review from someone who was more interested in the music of the bands than just someone who got to hang out with the bands and be their taxi driver.

I am sure you like the music.
But, as you do in a lot of your threads, the review contained more name dropping and references to hanging out with band members than detailing the sets. (IE - no setlists, etc).

I appreciate the review. As rms said too, I would like to see a review, esp from a Manilla Road fan.

I just typically dont do set lists because I just dont know song names even by my favorite bands I dont know song names.

Name dropping? Name dropping and references to hanging with band members are mentioned only in the first and last paragraphs for the first day and it was merely what I did at the beginning of the day and at the end. The second day only contains the fact that Carey got wet because I had a leakey roof. If you are referring to Lance giving me an album? I know Lance, I work with lance reviewing nightmare stuff and street teaming.

Its not like I discussed what we talked about while eating lunch or how many people got naked over the course of the weekend and did I mention (NAME DROP just for u Jason) the infamous ROB SUCH (OMG I <3 12th GATE!!!!!) gave me a possible preview of POWERFEST!!!

Seriously though I could give a fuck less about hanging out with the bands, I just wanna hang with cool people and thats what I did.

Between you and Diabolik, you guys drive me fucking nuts with your negativity constantly and sarcasm and "witty" remarks. I hope you get banned from UltimateMetal not just the Powerfest board.

Sorry bro. I call it as I see it.
From reviews you have done, to what I heard you did at Prog Power last year. You are there more for the social aspects than the music. I never said it was a bad thing, though I just can't place much validity in a review you write.

Name dropping Twelfth Gate and 50 cents might get you a child size FROSTY at Wendy's, so more power to ya!

definitely grab mystification imo sadly i dont know if deluge or open the gates will ever get reissued again...spiral castle is a really good album too for 2000 era Manilla...it's doom-ier than the others imo, really killer solos on that record.
