Kansas City Power Metal Fest
While I dont have my mits in this project, my friends Jodi and Scott do. So anyone from the Midwest take notice.
The 2008 Kansas City Power Metal Fest now has a date and a home! Saturday, August 9th, 2008 The Riot Room 4048 Broadway KCMO The first band confirmed for KCPMF is Kansas City's own Ancient Creation. Very cool. The MySpace page needs some tweaking though ... hopefully they are serious - I don't see a date or a venue listed ...

Best wishes to your friends, Biffle. Hope their first fest goes great! I can't wait till I can get home and actually listen to their first confirmed band (instead of just looking at their myspace page here at work).

Yup Steve Bentley from Darkside, he's been on the scene here in KC since mid eighties singing in bands and rocking out. Saw Ancient Creation up at the Midwest Metal Anthem at JJ Kellys in Chicago too. They do put on a good live show, should be interesting to see what else goes on this lineup.
