Anybody hear the new Kiuas?

Wonder if its as good as Martin Popoff claims - http://www.bravewords.com/hardwares/1001324

If so, they might be able to play in what was Volbeat's slot.. maybe? I guess perhaps not as established as some others but.. mabye...

It is phenomenal. My second favorite disc of the year, right behind the new Arsis.

Yeah, it's another stellar release from those guys...not sure where I rank it yet, but I wasn't disappointed.

Yup another very good release by these guys. I also happened to see the album release gig for the new album, always a very energetic live show and they'd be a great addition to the roster.

They haven't really gotten to play outside Finland yet (except for two one-off gigs in Japan and the UK) so it'd be really exclusive both for the US fans and the band They do hard work playing Finland a lot and would really deserve to get European tours too.

l like this...l like Reformation better...but this is a damn good release. Right now Kiuas is probably my #1 power metal band.

Does his voice sound the same as it does on older discs?

It's pretty good, although I don't think it's quite as good as Reformation. The singer is kind of hit and miss for me .. he's at least solid, and is unique sounding to me.

Somewhat disappointing. It's fair, but not as good as Reformation, which was not as good as The Spirit of Ukko. That would put them on a downward trend.
