Skid Row in ATL (okay, Duluth)

A girl I work with works at Wild Bill's and gave me several free tickets for Skid Row tonight at Wild Bill's in Duluth. If anyone would like one (or more), just PM me (or if you have my number of course, feel free to call). Show starts at 9:30, I believe.

I've seen 'em twice with this singer--once, in Atlanta about 1.5 years ago, he was horrendous. The second time, at Sweden Rock last year, the dude was better than Sebastian ever thought of being. So this is the tie-breaker!

Hope to see some of you there!
Shaye

I'm one of the few people who liked their last album >_>

But I understand Skid Row fans not liking it.. since it was more like immature punkish rock than what they used to be about.

Thickskin was actually a pretty good release, but I've never listened to the latest. It got such crappy reviews I just never wasted my time on it. At this point in my life, I wouldn't attend a Skid Row show unless the band reunited with Bach. Otherwise, it's just not Skid Row without him.

Funny, I saw Skid Row twice WITH Bach, the first time they were great, the second time, opening for Van Halen, they were terrible. Maybe someday I'll get my tiebreaker but I won't count on it.

Ok, Slave To The Grind is one of my fave albums ever. Top 10 for me.

I was not all that stoked about the show Friday, but went anyway. So I'm pretty much ready to hate them because I don't like the last 2 records too much. But....Johnny Solinger really delivered the goods. he hit every note he was supposed to, and pretty much acted as if he owned the stage. Scotti is a retarded guitar player, too. Highly underrated. He was in complete control of his instrument and had great tone.

My only complaint was the setlist. They only played 3 songs from STTG, but almost the entire 1st album. Which was really disappointing to me. But....they sounded killer.

Wow. It's very difficult to watch people you care about succumb to the ravages of drug addiction. And to think, I wasn't even aware Shaye had begun smoking crack.

I totally saw her and Urban with a pipe at the show the other night. I told her it was wrong, but she wouldn't listen.
