Iced Earth live in Quebec city...
A good buddy of mine who's a prog snob like me went to see Nightwish with IE last friday.
We both have seen IE in Montreal around 2000 and didn't really care for them. They just fell flat to us even if they were the headliners. Now, the same guy goes to see Nightwish with IE as an opener and when I ask him how were Nightwish, he can't stop telling me how good IE was and how awesome Barlow was. He even told me they stole the show and people went nuts over them. He told me Barlow was very energetic and charismatic. His voice was amazing and he handled the crowd perfectly. Me thinks we're gonna be in for a real treat in Atlanta!!!  Cheers! Steve

I'm really looking forward to IE with Barlow. The first time I saw them was with Barlow, waist-length red hair flying behind him as he ran across the stage with a U.S. flag waving. Matt's a great front man with a distinctive, powerful voice.
I can't even imagine how energized the band is now that Barlow is back. Their PPUSA IX performance will surely be one for the record books.
