The only way that the Hellish Rock tour would be any better is if Seventh Avenue was opening, as I think their style fits the bill much better than Manticora, with all due respect to those guys.

You've definitely stumbled upon the best 08 release in To Death And Beyond IMHO.

Battleroar, FTW!!!

Haha, it's a cool album, but it's not typical power...sort of a "power metal lite". The melodies and vocals carry it more than the riffs do IMO.

As for other good PM releases this year...
Brainstorm - Downburst
Firewind - The Premonition
ReinXeed - The Light
Armory - The Dawn Of Enlightenment (actually Dec. of 07, but close enough )
Kiuas - The New Dark Age
Crystallion - Hattin (after one listen, sounds promising)
Fires Of Babylon - s/t (more of an honorable mention..not bad, but not great either)

If this new CD is anything like their previous 2 efforts, it's gonna rule!

I am sure you are correct with this assessment, but can't wait to hear this new CD for myself. BTW, nice call on cranking "Worlds Apart"!

Worlds apart is their best by a very long shot...

Are they still doing something? The last one was a snoozefest...
