THE power metal album of 2008

Seventh Avenue: Terium

I can't stop playing this The only downside is that it is religious but while the message means nothing to my secular heart, the music is as good as any classic 70's/80's record.

I don't understand why you couldn't simply bump this thread up with your statement.

...how many threads do you intend to start about this band?

I mean, really?

I've never seen a distributor list a CD this way:

Is the SEVENTH AVENUE style applicable to young metalheads? Well, if your cup of tea is what many refer to as ’melodic Euro Power Metal’, then you can check "Terium". After all, the quartet shows high skills in instrumentation, even if their songwriting will remind you of a hundred of other bands playing this similar double-bass high-tempo metallic style. When they started off their sound was more ’raw’, resulting in some wannabe ’true’ Metal amalgam of European and ’latin’ American Power Metal. (2008)

That's from CM Distro in reference to the latest from Seventh Avenue.

I listened to a couple of tracks. I hear nothing remarkable. Given how difficult it would be to obtain their albums (they're horrendously expensive imports), and how similar they are in style to other bands, I doubt you'll win many fans here.

I LOVE Seventh Avenue. They are the Christian equivalent of Helloween and Gamma Ray! Can't wait to hear this new CD!

So the only downside is that it's Metal without a sense of rebellion or a message that is anti-establishment? Sounds like I should grab a few cases of non-alcoholic beer, call up a few conservatively dressed virgin women, put my stereo's volume level at a comfortable level (as to not be rude to my neighbors) and get ready to party.
