Journey - Never Walk Away. New album, new singer. Sounds really good. Traditional Journey, bit buzzy on the guitar, pissy audio compression to make the video.

Not too shabby!

Well, I like the singer. Definitely a good fit. The song is nice and a bit catchy, but very forumlaic. Nice little guitar riff towards the end. Just no pow and wow for me. Still, it's all Journey and that's a good thing.

The new singer just shines for me in this song. It's his song to own for me. For some reason his control reminds me a bit of Ray Alder when singing "Eye To Eye".

He's good (a great singer) but he doesn't control the stage like Jeff Scott Soto. I don't understand what happened there.

I still say that "Never Walk Away" is a re-working of a song Neal Schon co-wrote with Soto called "Believe In Me" from Jeff's Lost In The Translation cd. The song progression is just too similar. Maybe it's just me. Does anybody else hear it?
